CurAegis Technologies has launched the Cura System designed to track sleep levels and make drivers aware of their fatigue levels.
The Cura System ties into the Fitbit mobile fitness device platform and the company has plans to also extend it to Apple and Garmin’s products as well as other fitness watch platforms.
Cura stands for Circadian User Risk Assessment, and the system tracks a user’s circadian rhythm, sleep patterns, and other biological metrics.
The Cura system provides actionable information about sleep quality and fatigue and how it impacts safety and wellness. Armed with this information, drivers can better manage sleep with the goal of reducing fatigue.
