The Truckload Carriers Association announced the winners of the 3rd North American Battle of Trucking’s Weight Loss Showdown. Halvor Lines Inc., of Superior, Wis., swept the competition, with its team winning the company contest and one of its driver managers, Keith Kitch, also a resident of Superior, Wis., taking the top honor for individuals.

Lane Kidd, president of the Arkansas Trucking Association, said in a statement that he created National Trucking Financial Reclamation Services last April to seek justice for trucking companies that allegedly had been defrauded by Pilot Flying J.

Section of I-65/I-70 Soon to Close for About Two Months

The Indiana Department of Transportation is launching an accelerated project that will close Interstate 65 and Interstate 70 between the north and south splits on the east side of downtown Indianapolis for approximately 59 days to reconstruct and lower one-half mile of pavement beneath seven bridges.
