Trojan Battery has created a sealed, absorbed glass mat battery designed specifically for idle-reduction technology in the heavy-duty truck industry
. OverDrive AGM 31, a heavy-duty cycling battery, can provide power for heating, air and on-board instruments when truck engines are turned off.
Working in conjunction with an auxiliary power unit, the battery has excellent recharge efficiency while driving, the company says. Other features include Trojan's durable polypropylene case, flame arrestor pressure vent, and removable carrying handles for easy lifting and installation. The battery also includes a 30-month warranty.
