Direct Equipment Supply, a heavy-duty equipment supplier, introduces its Model 10 Fifth Wheel Towing Boom, which converts any standard fifth wheel road tractor for towing service.
The boom features a remote controlled electric/hydraulic system and allows you to haul tractors, tractor-trailers, truck, buses and other towable equipment.
The Model 10 is made with a rust-proof galvanized finish, which protects the unit from road salts and moisture. The boom itself is 12 inches wide by 12 inches long. Installation and operation is easy, the company says, with a three-point sling that provides for a steadier ride and no side-to-side swaying.
