The switch has been tested per SAE 1455 for road salt, calcium chloride and magnesium chloride, and is waterproof to IP67. It has a high amperage capacity of 300A at 12V DC, can be used in high or low side applications, and first the standard master disconnect switch mounting pattern. It has a large red knob allowing for easy operation and a 90° switch travel makes it easy to identify the switch position.
