Truckload carrier CRST Malone has introduced a new lease purchase program as well as a sign-on bonus offer of up to $1,000 through mid-March for new owner-operators.
"In our new lease purchase plan, payments can be as low as $200 per week with $0 down for trucks that are approximately three years old," said Sherri Cook, CRST Malone director of recruiting. "Lease purchase drivers also receive 100 percent of fuel surcharge and 75 percent of gross line haul average."
The Birmingham, Ala.-based company says all owner-operators will receive a $250 sign-on bonus and will be eligible for up to $750 towards fuel for their first eight weeks with CRST Malone. Owner-operators are also eligible to receive an additional $250 if they bring their own flatbed trailer, and another $250 for those with their own securement equipment.
