The march toward a low-carbon, low emission future has been slow and technically challenging, but we are making progress. The population of near-zero emissions diesel technology trucks continues to grow. That’s nearly double where we were a decade ago. Equipment Editor Jim Park talks with Allen Schaeffer, the executive director of the Diesel Technology Forum, about progress made over the past 19 years to reduce emissions and improved the fuel efficiency of diesel engines.
