SoundSkins Global, an automotive sound deadener brand, unveiled its custom-cut sound deadening kits for Peterbilt trucks at the 2023 Mid America Trucking Show.

These pre-cut Peterbilt kits will cover the cabin floors and corners, and the truck inner and outer doors, of Peterbilt 389 models from 2006-2023; or 386 and 388 models from 2006-2015.

By adding the SoundSkins material to the surfaces of their trucks, drivers can reduce the amount of noise and vibration, while also adding a layer of thermal insulation to their vehicle.

SoundSkins Global developed these kits in partnership with Spare Time Fab, an aftermarket custom interior truck manufacturer in Pennsylvania.

“Truckers spend more time in their vehicles than anybody else. To them, their truck is not just a truck, it’s their mobile home away from home,” said Dennis Garcia, COO of SoundSkins Global in a statement. “These kits not only significantly improve truckers’ comfort levels while driving and spending time in their trucks, but also remove all the stress and guesswork from installing sound deadeners.”
