The Iowa Motor Truck Association says its board gave more than $10 million in charitable donations over the past year, showing some of the impact trucking has in the state.
Michael J. Riley is retiring from his post as the president of the Motor Transport Association of Connecticut after 29 years.
She replaces Lane Kidd, who left earlier this year to focus on a public affairs and investment group he founded. Kidd held the post for 22 years.
Lane Kidd and the Arkansas Trucking Association are going separate ways. Kidd, 60, served as president of the association for 22 years. He said he is leaving to focus on The Kidd Group, a public affairs and investment group he founded last year. He also will continue to manage the Trucking Alliance.
