Penske Truck Leasing is growing its electric vehicle fleet with the recent addition of a Kalmar Ottawa Electric Terminal Tractor T2E.
Kalmar, on the heels of a recent release of its electric T2 terminal tractor, has announced plans to offer electric versions of its lineup of vehicles by 2021.
Kalmar has produced a fully electric version of its Kalmar Ottawa T2 terminal tractor, designed for trailer-handling operations in warehouses, container terminals and other short-distance applications.
Terminal tractor manufacturer Kalmar Ottawa recently gave some industry journalists a tour of the company’s Ottawa, Kan., facility, as well as some time behind the wheel of the T2. Managing Editor Stephane Babcock was there.
Kalmar Ottawa announced the sale of its 60,000th terminal tractor, a T2 model, three years after hitting the 50,000 mark.
