TMW System’s TMT Fleet Maintenance software will now be able to integrate with Rand McNally’s line of mobile fleet management devices to incorporate real-time information on vehicle fault codes and location.

Data is provided by Rand McNally devices such as the TPC 7600, TND 760 and HD 100. Tying that data into TMT’s Fleet Maintenance software will allow fleets to proactively keep track of vehicles and provide rapid response to maintenance issues and repairs.

“Rand McNally’s mobile fleet management devices provide critical information that enables our fleet customers to proactively manage their repair processes, maximize warranty recovery and analyze repair trends across their fleet,” said Mike August, SVP and general manager at TMW Systems.

Rand McNally’s devices feature a Driver Vehicle Inspection Report which is used to create inspection tickets within the asset management software. The inspection ticket is tracked throughout the repair process, providing cost estimates and generating warranty information.

TMT Fleet Maintenance is a web-based software system that helps manage preventive maintenance schedules, parts inventory, fuel and tire usage and mechanic productivity. Users of the services can also evaluate fuel and tire usage, repair, and costs per mile throughout a fleet based on odometer readings from the Rand McNally devices.

Rand McNally’s devices also integrate with TMWSuite, TL2000, TruckMate and Innovative products from TMW Systems.
