Joint Omnitracs and TMW customers will be able to gain integrated access to several of Omnitracs applications including critical event reporting, trailer/reefer tracks portal, driver workflow with automated arrival and departure functionality ad a hosted TMW/Omnitracs portal.

New product integrations between Omnitracs mobile communications system and TMW Systems fleet management offerings were introduced at TMW’s Transforum user conference in Anaheim, Calif., Monday.
Joint Omnitracs and TMW customers will be able to gain integrated access to several of Omnitracs applications including critical event reporting, trailer/reefer tracks portal, driver workflow with automated arrival and departure functionality ad a hosted TMW/Omnitracs portal.
Omnitracs critical event reporting data will be summarized within TMWSuite by vehicle and monitored by TMW’s Dawg Alerts application for near real-time updates on specific events.
The trailer tracks portal will provide trailer information and reefer alerts directly to key personnel via the TMWSuite trailer tracking module while the driver workflow application is designed to increase operational efficiency.
The hosted TMW/Omnitracs portal provides a thin client user interface for small to medium-sized fleets using Innovative IES, Innovative Access or Access Plus dispatch systems from TMW.
“We are excited about our partnership with TMW,” Norm Ellis, Omnitracs vice president sales & marketing said, noting that these new integrations will allow fleets to make better use of the data they gather and provide the tools necessary to take appropriate actions more quickly.
