Comdata launched the FleetAdvance Mobile app to help drivers find the lowest fuel prices in the area or along a route.

A driver can use the app to search by current location, or a specific city or state to find the lowest prices in that area. The app connects to a registered Comdata card to display the best net price available to the driver. The app is a complementary service to the FleetAdvance product that was launched in 2013 to provide real-time transaction scoring, notifications, a management console, and analytics.

Users of the app can also manage card balances with options to transfer all or a portion of the funds to a driver’s designated bank account. Drivers will also be able to use the app to rate locations and view ratings from other users.

“FleetAdvance Mobile was designed to help a fleet get the most out of every mile,” said Randy Morgan, president of North American trucking at Comdata. “Drivers can plan their trip ahead of time, as well as use the app to adjust if a need arises on the road.”

Comdata is a provider of electronic payments solutions with fleet, corporate payment, healthcare, virtual card and prepaid solutions. FleetAdvance mobile is compatible with iOS and Android devices and is available for free through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
