The Racor Eco-Vent Filter prevents contamination from entering the DEF tank to protect the tank and other components, according to the company.

Current vehicle applications do not have a vent filtration system on the DEF tank for protection. The Eco-Vent’s element prevents dirty air from flowing into the DEF tank and the reservoir area holds dirt and water to prevent it from reaching the filter.

The Eco-Vent is made using diesel exhaust fluid compatible proprietary materials. It is designed for easy service with a snap-in bracket requiring no tools. The brackets are made of e-coated steel which resists corrosion from DEF and the environment.
