Pegasus TransTech has released Transflo Docu-Type, an automated document classification system that complements the Transflo suite of scanning applications.
After documents are scanned, the new application will automatically classify the documents before routing them to the fleet or broker.
Pegasus TransTech says the system uses proprietary business rules and key word patterns to “fingerprint and classify each document."
In a press release announcing the new application, Pegasus TransTech president and CEO Frank Adelman said, “Now, we can ensure that all of the doc type data needed for auto-processing and faster billing is provided instantly to the customer when the document images are delivered.”
The company says Docu-Type uses information gleaned from the millions of documents processed through the company’s data centers to identify documents and provide an accurate read rate. The service integrates into a fleet or broker’s existing transportation management systems.
