National Truck Driving Championships
More than 400 of the nation's best truck drivers competed in the 77th annual National Truck Driving Championships in Pittsburgh.
The event featured written knowledge tests as well as driving skills events.
Drivers were tested on their ability to judge distances, maneuver tight spaces, reverse, park, and position their vehicle exactly over scales, before barriers or around curves.
Walmart drivers took first place in the four-axle, five-axle and sleeper berth classes.
Some events use large rubber ducks. For instance, in testing precision driving around a curve, the goal is to get the right steer tire as close to the large rubber duck as possible without touching it.
