Mack is pulling the wraps off of its brand-new Class 8 tractor. The all-new Mack Pioneer was launched April 7 at the Brooklyn Naval Yard — not far from the site where Mack Trucks was founded 125 years ago. But, a week before the splashy launch, a select group of journalists were flown to Mack's Leigh High Valley, Pennsylvania, truck manufacturing plant for a sneak-peek at the new heavy-duty highway tractor.
