Finding and keeping qualified drivers is challenging enough for most trucking companies; doing so during a driver shortage can seem impossible. According to the latest report from the American Trucking Associations (ATA), the industry was in deficit by about 60,800 drivers in 2018, an increase of almost 20% from the previous year.
