The 2019 Movin'On Summit, a transportation technology showcase and sustainability showcase created and fostered by Michelin, was held June 4-6 in in Montreal, Quebec. The event is supported by the Movin'On Sustainable Mobility Fund and is a meeting point for leaders from the academic, political, urban planning, and business worlds who want to find concrete solutions to meet the major challenges of mobility, and to share best practices and the latest technology in this field. The big product news was Michelin's rollout of its Uptis "tweel" (unified tire + wheel) prototype for passenger cars that is airless and thus "puncture-proof."

NACFE’s Mike Roeth kicking off a workshop aimed at uncovering roadblocks to upping the range of heavy-duty electric trucks, looking out to the year 2030.
