The annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree wrapped up at the World’s Largest Truckstop on July 15. The event celebrated America’s truckers with more than 46,000 drivers, their families, and local residents in attendance, according to estimate. During the three days, guests enjoyed more than 150 exhibits; a Super Truck Beauty Contest with more than 100 registered contestants; an antique truck display with over 100 vehicles; delicious Iowa pork chop cookout; Trucker Olympics; a Pet Contest; free, live concerts; fireworks displays; and a truck light show. And, of course, it’s not a Truckers’ Jamboree without a whole host of show trucks guaranteed to tickle the fancy of big rig enthusiasts the world over.
