TEC Equipment opened a new 47,000 square foot, full-service truck dealership in Lathrop, Calif., a city in San Joaquin County. The new facility will house refrigerated, dry van and flatbed trailer sales in addition to used truck sales.

TEC Equipment sells vehicles from Volvo, Mack Trucks, Hino and Isuzu medium-duty, as well as GMC light-duty commercial trucks, making it the largest multi-point dealership group on the west coast of the U.S., according to TEC.

“San Joaquin has become a multi-modal hub for moving raw materials and goods throughout the western U.S.,” said Shelly Burcham, vice president of the San Joaquin Partnership. “It is a natural fit for TEC to locate its truck equipment sales where the action takes place.”

TEC Equipment is headquartered in Portland, Oreg., and has 22 locations along Interstate 5 in Oregon, Washington, Nevada and California. The company recently acquired all of Wabash National’s West Coast trailer franchises.
