As a result of enhanced global collaboration and coordination within the trucking industry, Bergstrom has promoted Bill Gordon to Global Vice President Truck.

Gordon will be responsible for all truck-related activities, including OEM, OES, aftermarket strategic pricing, as well as further developing global aftermarket opportunities for the company.

"Our truck customers are rapidly becoming global with operations in all the countries that Bergstrom has plants, joint ventures, or partners,” explains Jack Shaffer, president and CEO of Bergstrom. "Bill is a talented salesman who recognizes the huge opportunities in the marketplace and will help continue to grow this company.”

A 30-year veteran of the industry, Gordon was appointed VP Aftermarket and Nite Sales in 2011. He previously led International Sales for Bergstrom’s Nite system, directing overall marketing and branding efforts for the company, as well as overseeing continuous improvements in customer service. He was previously with Sears Manufacturing in Davenport, Iowa, where he was director of sales.

Gordon is a member of the ATA's Technology & Maintenance Council, the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association and the National Truck Equipment Association. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Northern Iowa.
