Penske Truck Leasing recently opened its new collision repair center in Atlanta suburb Lithia Springs.
The 20,000-square-foot facility provides collision services for chassis, body and trailer repairs, complete vehicle refinishing, and frame and alignment work for commercial trucks and vehicles.
"This state-of-the-art center uses the latest environmentally friendly repair and refinish techniques," said Frank Mileto, senior vice president - business ventures, Penske Truck Leasing. "We have installed special high efficiency paint spray booths that help filter the great majority of emissions to protect the environment. These booths employ smart technology that minimizes energy and fuel consumption, and has an improved air filtration system."
The facility has five service bays, and uses special light fixtures that reduce energy use by 50 percent. It serves the needs of Penske's own truck fleet and contract customers as well as commercial truck fleets from other regional businesses.
