John Hofmeister, former president of Shell Oil Co. and the founder and head of Citizens for Affordable Energy, will be a featured speaker at The NATSO Show 2009 in Nashville, Tenn., Jan. 24-28.


Hofmeister will rely on his 30 years of experience and share his expertise with truckstop and travel plaza owners and operators in his keynote speech, "The Dilemmas of Energy Retailing."

Upon retirement from Shell, Hofmeister founded the public policy advocacy firm Citizens for Affordable Energy, which promotes sound energy security solutions for the nation, including a range of affordable energy supplies, efficiency improvements, essential infrastructure, sustainable environmental policy and public education on energy issues.

Hofmeister will be speaking during The show's opening general session on Jan. 25.
