Hino Trucks 2006 Sales Up 39 Percent

Hino Trucks has announced ending the 2006 fiscal year with its best results ever. Hino Trucks retailed a record 6,595 trucks in its fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2007. This was a 39 percent increase

from the prior fiscal year.
Hino Trucks record year in the United States ranks third overall for all Hino Motors Limited, with only the Japanese market and Thailand market selling more Hino trucks.
"I am very confident with the excellent performance of our team members, that even loftier goals can be achieved for 2007," said Hiroji Kurayama, president of Hino Motor Sales U.S.A Inc.
Hino Motors Sales U.S.A. Inc. is the Detroit, Mich., headquartered distribution arm of Hino Motors Ltd., based in Tokyo, Japan. HMS, operating as Hino Trucks, sells and services a full product line of Class 4-7 medium-duty trucks through a nationwide dealer network.
