The Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) has created a special membership category for owner-operators. The category is open to individuals who own or operate up to five power units
.
TMC's new Owner-Operator Membership category will appeal to cost-conscious business owners who will enjoy a discounted annual dues rate of $150. Membership benefits for the new category include TMC's two-volume Recommended Practices Manual as well as a subscription to Fleet Maintenance & Technology, a quarterly magazine that provides council and industry news.
Other membership benefits include substantial savings on TMC meeting attendance, products and services.
"TMC exists to enable ongoing communication between equipment users and suppliers of products and services to the industry," said Janet Howells-Tierney, TMC's director of council development. "By creating this new membership category, TMC will increase the pool of truck maintenance expertise that is the foundation of the recommended practices that TMC has developed during the past 50 years."
TMC Owner-Operator members may receive a broader portfolio of council benefits by upgrading their membership to TMC's Full Maintenance Executive status for an additional $245. Other TMC membership categories include Associate, Service/Dealer, Technician and Educator.
