InSite Logistics Implements Prophesy ShipperTPL

Prophesy Transportation Solutions Inc., Bloomfield, Conn., announced that InSite Logistics has purchased and implemented Prophesy ShipperTPL software.

InSite Logistics, headquartered in Fenton, Mo., is a division of UniGroup Worldwide UTS and UniGroup Inc, the parent company of United Van Lines, Mayflower Transit and Total Transportation Services. InSite uses its network of 300 U.S. distribution companies to coordinate commercial and home deliveries.
Prophesy ShipperTPL is a transportation management system for third-party logistics and public warehousing companies. The solution combines least-cost shipping, load-building optimization, and carrier rating/selection, with customer charge calculations and shipment profitability analysis.
ShipperTPL automatically consolidates multiple orders from a single shipper or multiple shippers, and turns LTL shipments into fully optimized multi-stop truckloads. Prophesy, a leader in Transportation Management and Logistics software systems since 1989, developed ShipperTPL with input from some of the largest 3PL's in the country.
