Schneider National Inc., one of North America's largest truckload carriers and a transportation services provider, has been named a Sears 2002 "Partners in Progress" award winner for a second consecutive year.

The award was presented at ceremonies held earlier this month in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
"Schneider National has done an outstanding job the past two years in servicing Sears' transportation needs through its relationship with Sears Logistics Services," said Tony Brooks, vice president of transportation, Sears Logistics Services Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sears, Roebuck and Co.
The "Partners in Progress" program began almost 20 years ago and recognizes suppliers that make significant contributions to the growth of Sears' businesses. Award winners must supply at least $500,000 in goods and services and must meet specific evaluations.
"Being named a winner for the second consecutive year speaks to Schneider National's ongoing commitment to on-time delivery and customer service," said Scott Arves, president, transportation sector, Schneider National Inc.
Schneider National and Sears have been working together since 1991.
Schneider National moves hundreds of loads per day for Sears with a 99% on-time delivery rate.
