The Visteon Important Partner (VIP) program has recognized Ryder System Inc., a leader in transportation and supply chain management solutions,
as the top supplier of transportation in North America, according to the Visteon Corp.
The VIP program is designed to recognize outstanding suppliers that go above-and-beyond meeting Visteon's needs and expectations. Supplier awards were granted for the following areas: electronics, industrial materials, machinery and tooling, metals, non-metals and transportation.
Along with recognition, the program awards each VIP with a seat in the Visteon Supplier Round Table Council. The council, comprised of suppliers and Visteon leaders, will identify opportunities for Visteon and its supply chain to streamline efficiencies, reduce costs and work together to deliver to its customers.
