Menlo Logistics, a logistics company and technology provider to the logistics industry, has released the Menlo Logistics Management Solution, a fully integrated solution for end-to-end management of global supply chain operations.
Menlo says LMS can replace the four or five systems previously used for complex logistics operations in a company's global supply chain. It gives customers an event management and reporting system with one source for information. This integration enables greater supply-chain visibility, faster project implementation and increased collaboration with partners.
In addition to core logistics provisions, LMS has provisions for planning, assembly, postponement, and reverse logistics.
Developed by Menlo in conjunction with Baan, LMS is complementary to the iBaan solutions and is closely related to Baan's soon to be announced iBaan logistics solution.
"Our cooperation with architecture allows us to leverage a common instance across our customer base while customizing for each company," said Ed Feitzinger, Menlo's vice president of technology and engineering.
