Transcore Teams with myFreightWorld

TransCore’s Commercial Services division has announced a partnership with myFreightWorld of Kansas City, Mo.

The Transcore division, based in Beaverton, Ore., owns truckload matching operations DAT Services and Link Logistics. MyFreightWorld operates a web-based service for LTL freight.
"With access to myFreightWorld LTL offerings and TransCore's full-truckload services, brokers will benefit from expanded transportation options and new business partners," said Owen Geisz, myFreightWorld's chief operating officer. "TransCore is quickly moving to provide access to every tool necessary for brokers' transaction and planning needs."
According to Transcore, a recent customer survey indicates that nearly half of TransCore's freight exchange customers need access to the LTL transportation segment, as well as the ability to negotiate LTL shipments in the same online environment they use for their truckload negotiations.
