J.B. Hunt and Dart Transit Co. have selected American Mobile Satellite Corp.’s Multi-Mode Mobile Messaging Service to enhance fleet operations. The wireless messaging solution enables drivers to communicate quickly with dispatchers, enabling the company to coordinate pickup and deliveries more closely with its customers. System is said to provide total, seamless nationwide coverage and combine the Ardis wireless data network in more than 10,700 cities with American Mobile satellite coverage.
