Peterbilt Honored for Safety

Peterbilt's production facility in Madison, Tenn., recently received a Perfect Record Award from the National Safety Council.

The company earned the award for operating more than three million hours in 1999 without a death or accident requiring time off from work.
The motor vehicle and equipment industry average for 1996-1998 was nearly 120 days lost due to serious accidents.
