2016 Fleet Technology Expo in Pictures

The National Highway Traffic Administration should stop pushing the adoption of “robot car technology” until more testing is done and enforceable safety standards are promulgated, according to a July 28 letter sent by three advocacy groups to NHTSA Administrator Mark Rosekind.

NHTSA: Traffic Deaths Up 7.7%

Preliminary data released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on July 1 shows a 7.7% rise in motor-vehicle traffic deaths last year. NHTSA said an estimated 35,200 people died in 2015, up from the 32,675 reported fatalities in 2014.
