Jump Technologies, St. Paul, Minn., which markets a cloud-based proof-of-delivery and inventory control app, was named to the 100 Great Supply chain Projects by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine, the company reported.

The company was recognized for its project in automating the proof-of-delivery functions for the Washington D.C.-area based ImpactOffice Group with its JumpTrack applications.

ImpactOffice Group operates 33 trucks in the Washington, D.C., metro area making about 1,000 stops per day. The application improved the operation’s efficiency enough to eliminate one truck, the company said.

Drivers download delivery information into their Android devices and obtain an electronic signature at each delivery. That delivery information is then automatically uploaded into JumpTrack’s cloud-based application.
