On June 1, J.J. Keller & Associates will unveil its new CSA Management Suite, a tool to assist fleets prepare for and manage their safety compliance program under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's CSA 2010 initiative.

Under CSA 2010, carrier scores will be based on crash reports provided by the states for DOT recordable crashes, roadside inspection reports provided by the states, and violations discovered during interventions conducted by state or federal investigators. The CSA Management Suite will interact with the FMCSA's Safety Measurement System (SMS) to give carriers real and up-to-date accident, violation, and roadside inspection data to generate a safety rating to see how they will stack up. The online service will act as an early warning system.

"Our goal is to help our subscribers go beyond just knowing what their scores are - CSA Management Suite will help them evaluate where they are, identify the steps they can take to improve, and implement sustainable and successful safety compliance programs to decrease their likelihood of an FMCSA intervention," said James J. Keller, president and chief operating officer.

The CSA Management Suite will include: tracking tools for accidents and roadside inspections; a self-audit tool that determines a carrier's safety fitness rating and recommends corrective actions; a BASICs dashboard; 30 pre-written company policy templates; reporting and analysis tools to provide early warning reports; and access to the Personal Assistant tool.
