The Racor Division of Parker Hannifin has rolled out new Fuel Filter/Water Separators that trap contaminants in diesel fuel before they reach the fuel injection system
. The new 7125R10 and 7125R30 Fuel Filter/Water Separators have integrated priming pumps.
This two-state filtration and re-priming system comes equipped with a DC motor and 12-volt roller-cell fuel pump that offers the benefit of an electric on-demand priming pump. The system has a flow rate of up to 120 GPH. It also comes in a 24-volt brushless version, in which the motor shaft directly drives the gerotor, creating a unique, positive displacement pump.
This filter/water separator package includes a self-venting drain, a replaceable Aquabloc spin-on filter, a reusable clear collection bowl, a water-in-fuel detection probe, and a vent valve to purge air during fuel priming. The system can be used for both on- and off-engine applications.
