A dry van version has been available since 2003.
VeriWise has been configured to work first with Thermo-King-equipped refrigerated trailers, and will be expanded to other lines shortly. The new option includes the geo-fencing feature that allows the unlimited placement of virtual geographic boundaries around specific addresses. When a VeriWise-equipped trailer passes through an assigned boundary, it generates a data report that can be received by e-mail or phone devices that read text messages. Geo-fencing provides real-time information that improves cargo security, enhances operational flexibility, and gives customers the comfort of knowing the progress of their shipment.
