Convoy Raises Funds for Make-A-Wish

'Big Red,' a 1972 Kenworth, was driven by Carl Ellerman three times in the convoy, the last in 2012 shortly before he died. The truck was sold at auction, bought by friend Tim Kauffman, whose son drove it in this year's convoy. Read the story here.

Approximately 6,000 spectators lined the 28-mile route and attended the festival at the business park where the convoy begins and ends.

Many truckers, who raise their own funds for the event, return year after year.

Approximately 100 Make-A-Wish children rode along with truckers in the convoy this year.

This year’s 380 trucks was 45 more than last year. The convoy for the first time was sponsored by the RoadPro Family of Brands.

The amount raised by the convoy typically grants wishes for 30 to 35 children.
