Manifest Las Vegas is a new trade show focused on evolution of logistics and the supply chain. The show featured exhibitors from across that ecosystem, including automation and robotics, global and cross border shipping, local and last mile mobility, and, of course, autonomous and electric vehicles. Trucking didn’t have an obvious presence there, except for a few difficult-not-to-notice big trucks over in the corner. Next year’s event takes place Feb. 5-7 in Sin City.

Daimler Truck North America chose to reveal its SuperTruck II project at the show. DTNA shared booth space with autonomous technology partner Torc Robotics.

The meeting area in the center of the exhibit hall was popular. Attendees could hook up and exchange information with the help of a Tile device encoded with the wearers contact information. Pressing a button is replacing the exchange of business cards.
