Eaton recently named Scott Adams as president of its eMobility division, where he will report to João Faria, president of Eaton’s Vehicle Group.

“Scott’s contributions to the success of our eMobility business since its inception, along with his deep understanding of vehicle markets and customers make him an excellent choice for this role,” said Faria.

Adams joined Eaton in 1994 as a project engineering manager in Cleveland, Ohio, and has held numerous positions in his 26-year career with the company. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of product strategy, sales and marketing of eMobility. Prior to this role, Adams served as senior vice president of global product development, marketing and planning of the Vehicle Group.

Adams holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan, a master's degree in engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and a master of business administration from the University of Michigan.
