Detroit Connect Virtual Technician Adds Support for DT12

ORLANDO – The Detroit Connect Virtual Technician remote diagnostic system can now deliver remote event diagnostics for Detroit DT12 automated manual transmissions, the company announced during ATA's annual meeting. The Detroit Connect mobile app is also now available for download for Freightliner and Western Star customers with active Detroit Connection subscriptions.

ORLANDO – The Trump administration will make it easier for groups such as the American Trucking Associations and the trucking industry to put in place apprentice programs to cross the job skills gap and help address driver and technician shortages, said U.S. Labor Secretary Alex Acosta at ATA’s annual meeting.

ORLANDO - Boiled down to its essence, the review of the Compliance, Safety, Accountability program by the National Academies of Science found that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration should move to a more scientific method to drive the Safety Measurement System that signals which motor carriers are at highest risk for future crashes, according to an FMSCA official.
