Trucks Transported 60.6% of U.S.-NAFTA Trade in April

The Bureau of Transportation Statistics of the U.S. Department of Transportation released the April North American Free Trade Agreement freight numbers showing that trucks carried 60.6% of the $99 billion of freight moved in April 2013 between the United States and its NAFTA partners, Canada and Mexico.

Freight Forecast: Strong Trucking Growth

American Trucking Associations released the latest edition of U.S. Freight Forecast to 2024, which projects an overall increase in freight volumes for all modes of more than 20% and an increase in the amount of that freight moved by trucks.
