The Intermodal Association of North America and The National Industrial Transportation League have announced ten educational sessions that will take place on the tradeshow floor during the Intermodal Expo and TransComp Exhibition, taking place Nov. 17-19 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.

On Monday, Nov. 18, the show floor will feature six educational programs covering topics such as security compliance and environmental awareness in today’s supply chain, emerging technologies designed to cut fuel costs and track containers across all modes, intermodal market trends, and developments in the short line railroad market.

During the educational sessions on Tuesday, Nov. 19, attendees will have the opportunity to meet future leaders in the intermodal industry as students from Auburn University and the Universities of Maryland, North Florida, and North Texas present their research during IANA’s 3rd Annual Intermodal Industry Challenge. Visitors will also hear how industry insiders achieve successful supply chain operations in the session titled Clear Communications Equals Successful Supply Chains. The day will close with concurrent sessions forecasting the future of the rapidly changing marine chassis market, and the emergence of Supply Chain Control Towers.
