The Pete Store, one of the largest truck dealers in the United States, opened The Peterbilt Store - Delaware, a full-service truck dealership in Seaford, Del.

The 15,000-square-foot facility is located at 9075 Dolby Road (directly off Route 13) and will specialize in Peterbilt medium-duty trucks and PacLease commercial truck rental & leasing. The location has a parts warehouse carrying a wide range of product lines for all makes of trucks, and eight truck service bays with factory certified technicians.

"The addition of our Seaford location means we now offer our customers more than 700 miles of continuous support spanning six states." said Jeff Arscott, vice president and general manager of the company's Mid-Atlantic division.

Managers for the Seaford location include Butch Smith in the role of parts manager, and Andy White as service manager. Smith has 30 years of experience at a heavy truck dealer in the region, while White moves from the company's Baltimore store.

To celebrate the opening, The Pete Store announced donations to the Boys and Girls Club of Seaford, Sussex County Habitat for Humanity, and the Trinity Foundation.

Arscott explained the donations, "We are very fortunate to live and work in some great communities; Sussex County is no exception. We believe it is our responsibility as a company and individuals to get involved in each of them. These donations represent the beginning of our on-going commitment to this community."
