The renovated Diamond International of Russellville dealership is now 30% larger with a 21,000-square-foot footprint.

The renovated dealership, located at 143 State Road 331 N, is now 30% larger with a 21,000-square-foot footprint. The majority of the new space is allocated to the parts and service departments. The service department has high ceilings and double-sided bays.

The expansion added three new service bays plus a new wash bay. All the bays are wired for computers to speed diagnosis and repair. The service department now includes a new area for shop tools, warranty and core storage. The parts department sales floor features an extra-long parts counter and flexible merchandising displays. A re-designed parts warehouse with a mezzanine provides additional parts storage.

The expansion also includes fully renovated office areas, and a functional and comfortable drivers' lounge. The Russellville location now offers Navistar's Accelerated Service and expanded hours of service. To improve vehicle uptime, the dealership is now open weeknights until midnight and Saturdays until 5 pm.

"We are open for business in Russellville," says Steve Osborn, branch manager. "We have a large all-makes parts inventory and highly skilled technicians ready to handle the area's trucking needs. As an added plus, we have the very best drivers' lounge in the area. It features a large flat screen TV, comfortable seating and wireless internet-it's truly a place where our customers can get work done."

The dealership will host a grand opening event for customers and local community leaders on Tuesday, April 3. The Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce will have a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. The event includes a live radio broadcast from River Country, KCJC with Johnny Story from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
