Penske Truck Leasing has opened a new $7 million state-of-the-art facility in Cheektowaga, New York, a Buffalo suburb.
Located at 3828 Broadway St., the 14,000-square-foot building is housed on 8 acres and offers full-service truck leasing, consumer and commercial truck rental and contract maintenance services.
This new location is expected to employ 30. It contains four service bays, a two-lane fuel island and an automated wash bay. The maintenance shop also uses wireless technology that enables Penske's service technicians to automatically connect vehicles in for service with diagnostic and analytic software.
Since Penske has expanded into this new and upgraded facility, two smaller nearby facilities in Buffalol, located at 3710 Milestrip Road, and Tonawand, located at 155 Woodward Ave. W., will close along with a Rental Mart in Depew, located at 3263 Walden Ave. All Penske associates will be transferred to the new Cheektowaga location.
