Components manufacturer SAF-Holland has hired 83 new industrial employees at its plants in Keilberg, Frauengrund and Worth am Main, Germany, a result of increased demand and production.
SAF-Holland Ramps Up Hiring on Increased Demand

"We are receiving an increasing number of orders and additional production shifts are needed," said Steffen Schewerda, member of the Executive Board and responsible for the company's production worldwide. "We are pleased to announce that we have been able to re-hire some of the employees laid off in 2009."

In North America, over 100 production workers have been added to the workforce since the beginning of the year.

Due to its high market share in Europe and North America, the company expects to benefit from the upturn in the market.

"Looking ahead, an annual increase in transport volume of 10 percent is generally expected in the industry over the next five years," said Wilfried Trepels, chief financial officer.
