Mid-West Truck Show Coming Up This Weekend
Anne Ferro, administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will kick things off at the opening general session.

This time around the show will provide additional space for exhibitors in an effort to help truck operators get ahead in a complex market while facing the challenges of changing regulations, an uncertain economy and increased costs.

Truck show attendees will see displays on the newest tractors, trailers, engines, parts, accessories, communication and computer equipment, tires, lubricants and services. Representatives from state and federal government agencies that deal with the trucking industry will also be on hand.

The show will again feature the "Trucker's Pride" Truck Beauty Contest for work and show trucks, with additional categories and space for more trucks. Winners will look forward to cash prizes, trophies and recognition.

The show is held in conjunction with the Annual Convention of the Mid-West Truckers Association.
