Dogwood Crossing Travel Center, Carroll, Ohio, now offers the Transflo Express truckstop scanning solution from Pegasus TransTech, making it the 31st independently-owned truckstop to house the solution.
According to Pegasus, by using the solution, drivers hand their delivery documents to a trained fuel desk attendant, and these documents are sent electronically to the broker or fleet for immediate billing and payroll processing. The system expedites document delivery and allows brokers, fleets, and drivers to get paid faster, the company says.
"We decided to offer Transflo Express because so many drivers were asking for it," said Dick Kilbarger, owner of Dogwood Crossing Travel Center, an independent operator.
Transflo Express is available at more than 540 truckstop locations nationwide including all Pilot and Love's travel centers.
